Visa Information and Border Run Services

In principle, the 60-day visa exemption functions similarly to a tourist visa. Upon entering Thailand, you will receive 60 days, which can be extended for an additional 30 days at a local Thai Immigration Office. You are also permitted to change your visa category while in Thailand.

Visa Run Processes (Laos Border)

Day 1

Departure from Bangkok

3 to 4 PM: Meet at Link Sukhumvit Soi 50 for registration and document upload.
6:00 PM: Van parks at Lotus Sukhumvit Soi 50
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Depart from Sukhumvit to Mukdahan

Day 2

Mukdahan & Visa Process

6:00 AM: Arrive at Mukdahan Border.
7:00 AM: Breakfast at a local restaurant
After having Breakfast Check into an available hotel for rest and relaxation
5:30 PM: Dinner at a local restaurant

Day 3

Get Visa & Return to Bangkok

8:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel
11:30 PM: Check out & Lunch while waiting for the e-visa release
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: After the e-visa is released, travel back to Bangkok
