Visa Information and Border Run Services

In principle, the 60-day visa exemption functions similarly to a tourist visa. Upon entering Thailand, you will receive 60 days, which can be extended for an additional 30 days at a local Thai Immigration Office. You are also permitted to change your visa category while in Thailand.

1st Option: Border Run by VIP Mini Van from Bangkok to Savannakhet, Laos

Itinerary: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Meet @ 19:30, depart 20:00

Day 1

Departure from Bangkok

3 to 4 PM: Meet at Link Sukhumvit Soi 50 for registration and document upload.
6:00 PM: Van parks at Lotus Sukhumvit Soi 50
19:30 to 20:00 –Depart from outside parking Lotus Sukhumvit Soi 50, next to BTS Station ON NUT

Day 2

Border Crossing & Return

06:00 to 09:00 Arrive at Mukdahan border, cross into Laos and have breakfast at a local restaurant
10:00 to 21:00 Cross back into Thailand and begin return journey to Bangkok, ETA 21:00.

Important Notes:

 - This itinerary assumes no additional documents are requested by the embassy.
 - If the embassy requests more documents, the following expenses will be covered:
    - 1 extra night at a hotel.
    - Transportation back to Bangkok.

2nd Option: Border Run by AIR to Nakhon Phanom (KOP) and cross at Mukdahan

Itinerary: Tuesday and Thursday morning. You book following flights:

Process:

Depart DMK to KOP with Thai Lion Air @ 07:30 OR Thai Air Asia @ 07:45, Return KOP to DMK Thai Air Asia @ 16:50

Preparation: provide copy passport, previous entry stamps, ticket and payment

Day of trip: we pick up at Airport Nakhon Phanom and travel by private car to Mukdahan, complete Immigration process on both sides and return you to Nakhon Phanom Airport
